The co-existing of death and rebirth is core to all creation. With Easter Sunday falling on April 17, Gráinne Doherty uses the four Wednesdays of April to break open the different aspects and stages of the Easter Story, and explores how it can speak to our lives today. Focussing particularly on scripture, each session will consist of input, reflection, and discussion.
Gráinne Doherty is currently working freelance in pastoral ministry and facilitation. Prior to this, she was part of the Theology department in All Hallows College (Dublin) for many years, while also working in pastoral leadership at both parish and diocesan level – most recently as Director for pastoral development in the Raphoe Diocese. Her Veritas publication “Joy of Love: A Family Perspective” (2018) is a book of spiritual reflections and prayers which situates the writings of Pope Francis in the reality of family experience today.
